Fraxinus Umbra Rex

The Fraxinus Umbra Rex or Ash Hawk is the apex avian predator of Sedah. Ash Hawks are built to fly through the thick, ash stormed atmosphere of Sedah and use this advantage to keep clear of the mostly unpredictable terrain.
They have been known to go after smaller prey, but they dominantly target the large towering creatures known as Ash Cattle. Under the cover of an ash storm, the Ash Hawks use their weight combined with their momentum to smash these massive ash feeders to the ground and then stab at their long neck using a sharp and strong horn. Ash Hawks will devour large chunks of flesh as fast as they can in order to avoid the savage predators on the ground like Ash Scamps.
