Maned Bear

Maned Bears are the largest species of bear in Lardomum and are unique to the northern black forest of Czarzemlaw.
Named after their impressive beard like mane, Maned Bears are powerful animals with the capability to take down adult Mourning Mammoth or even Manavan armored vehicles. They are the dominating predators of the Ashen Tundra, their strength and will defining them as lords of the Sootlands.

In the last two centuries Manava have been training and breeding select Maned Bear for military purpose, creating a breed with thinner silver to black fur, higher muscle mass, limited but effective obedience, and noteable red eyes. These War Bears are set with thick tank armor so they can bound dauntless into battle and achieve maximum carnage against their foe.
