Kaiju: Yum (returns!)

Yum. A name given to describe the bizarre beings born when outer universal beings enter a universe. A defense system of sorts or immune system that attacks and devours foreign invaders from other dimensions. Yum have common features amongst eachother (two oval eyes, one mouth, little spine like protrusions, arms and legs, tail, head and body, and a tooth like formation in the mouth) but their proportions and color will differ immensely. 

Yum will attack through stretching their arms and using them like whips, firing beams from their eyes, headbutt, and by splitting their head open to reveal their quasar forming, quote unquote "brain, that will blast a target with it's focused energy. To power such a weapon a Yum has a black hole in it's "stomach" to allow it to quickly grab sources of energy and use it for the Quasar beam. It's "tooth" and spines also assist in conducting energy.

Though their main purpose is to destroy and devour universal invaders, Yum have been recorded to explore worlds either out of curiosity, to refuel, or for some other mysterious purpose.
