Days Of The End: Subterraneus (sketch Concepts)

This is like the fifth or fourth time I've redrawn him.

Subterraneus is the first Vastator to migrate to North America and the only one known to dig. Its the second most aggressive Vastator, churning up cities just to get at precious sources of energy. It digs surprisingly fast, but not just by using its claws but also by vibrating its head to act as a drill. It is also the Vastator with the greatest jumping distance. It has a large maw that opens with a trio of tentacles that absorb energy and can grab objects of interest. Its been known to only peek its head out from underground to bask its "tongues" in sunlight.
